This is my 5th year with Canyon PSA. I have been involved in playing or coaching soccer for 30 years. For the last 17 years my wife and I have been involved in working with kids from Infants to High School kids at our church. We both have a love for kids and futbol. I have four kids of my own. I played Club Soccer with JUSA through High School and graduated from Whittier Christian High earning All County Honors my Senior year. After graduating I played for Adult CSL and PSL teams in the local area. Now, I am the old man playing with all the Kids in the local men's leagues still playing on a weekly basis.
For me the most important part of coaching soccer is the opportunity it allows me to influence young people. Teaching soccer is just a small part of it all. But through soccer many of the important life skills can be taught.
